An early night and only the five caipirinhas, two bottles of wine, two beers and a brandy, meant I finally made it into Poujuca this morning.

Like all of the Brazilian towns and villages I’ve seen, all of the flat surfaces are covered in paint…..multi-coloured, multi-layered, gorgeous peeling paint……I LOVE IT!

Seconds after the first building I was singing The Bunnymens “Pictures On my Wall” and snapping away like a man possessed.

And now a huge apology to everyone who has been so kind to comment on my recent posts….I’m only managing to log onto the internet long enough to copy and paste these posts from word files and photofiles…the longest connection I’ve ever established lasted a sum total of 7 minutes and that was an exception..so replies are really virtually impossible…I really DO appreciate your comments and I WILL reply to everyone as soon as I can get back to wifi in the real world…Thanks again…..

🙂 🙂

Fabulous photographs. Can see why you don’t want to come home. Love the colours. Enjoy the remainder of your stay and have a safe flight home, speak to you on Friday.
