riopoujuca1webOccasionally I am accused of being a bit of a drama queen, (though in a Macho, throbbin’ pectoral, rampant testotosteroney kinda way of course)…..Those in the know have pointed out that, though I’ve been having a hissy-fit and stamping my little feet about the chilliness and dampness of Middle England,Β  I have in fact had more than my fair share of sun of late…..’tis true…and as an antidote to yesterdays frosty snaps here are a couple from more temperate climes.

Every time I go to Brazil, one of the first things I do is head for the stretch of beach between Itacimirim and the estuary of the Rio Poujuca……That word ‘Paradise’ is much over-used…but I think theres a pretty good argument for shouting it at the top of your voice when you find yourself barefoot in the clouds.

Strange…the first version disappeared half way through then re-appeared after posting the second……
Obviously the angels of wordpress did not find version one effusive enough….
