This first shot was taken around midday, usually a pretty crap time for landscape shots, but a sudden gap in the low hanging dark clouds created a really nice low angle wash of bright sunlight that caught the leaves of the wind whipped Olive trees…It only lasted for a couple of wonderful minutes….


This was the same day some hours later and I thought all my birthdays had come at once when the same thing happened again…This time with a low shaft of light picking out the side of the mountain that rises behind the embalse of St. Clemente.
