Took another trip to the embalse of San Clemente…..
Snow up on the Sierras behind and a very threatening looking cloud made me very very wary as I had thrown caution to the wind and was not wearing my thermal poncho, multi layer polar fleece and water repellent waders with the pockets stuffed with Kendal mint cake….(in fact, high cut speedo’s, midriff revealing tighty-whitey T-shirt with diamante Liberace logo, wedge heeled espadrilles and my Phillip Treacy yachting trilby had seemed like the right choice when I left the house).
However even in conditions this inclement, the hardy, (and very fashionable), Mr Shpics managed to take the accompanying shot.
I am considering seeking out sponsorship from survival gear manufacturers..surely my bravery in facing these hellish conditions must be worth a few pennies?

The Altiplano’s a rather strange combination of landscapes in what is really a relatively a small area…I cant get enough of it…
